Tim,
While it is hard to make close the door to something that you think may work, ignoring your gut feeling would mean that you are not making use of the abilities you already have. This would then lead to even more pain down the road when you'd eventually realize that it was not the right decision after all. The fact that you feel pain means that your decision was not made lightly and that it was right. When the time is right it will be a no brainer. Remember too patience is a virtue...
Take heart!

It's like your daily walk in Christ. just view each trip as an opportunity to change ... can i bike/walk there? is it a time factor or personal preference? our carbon footprint is lightened when we remember to recycle, reuse, repair. we watch for opportunities to give away what is no longer needed, remembering that all our possessions came from God, passing on the blessing. I'd prefer to avoid the RT to San Marcos 2 or 3 times a week from La Jolla, so i gave my daughter a bike (with helmet, light and lock); perhaps she can navigate around without calling for assistance. i have to remember it's not the money or the time, it's the environment!

Wow! What an experience you had! I'm glad you've been able to make that dream a reality. You're so right - I think God wants us to trust Him that much. It's a challenge though to overcome our fear. He is the only One who can be trusted completely and in every circumstance. He is worthy of our trust.

Great Post, Tim. Looking outward creates an energy you can't reach while focusing inward, and sharing it keeps that positivity going... just like smiles are contagious.

One positive action along the way will make the difference in someone's world each day. :)

You have good "help" Tim! I have to keep reminding myself that Jesus said that He did not come to judge, but to save.

Don't you just love those debriefs? It's especially hard when you hear things like "You used a LEED v2.2 credit checklist. We changed it to LEED v3 in Amendment 12," and you know darn well the project will never ever be even certified, let alone Silver!
